This Privacy Policy describes how Brinson Designs Inc., doing business as The Corporate Exodus ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you register for our events at thecorporateexodus.com.
Information we collect
When you register for an event, we collect only what we need to get you into the room:
- First name, so we can address you properly
- Email address, so we can send your confirmation, your event link, and reminders
- Mobile phone number, so we can text you reminders on the day of the event
If you purchase anything from us, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number. We also collect standard website analytics, including pages viewed and general location, through our analytics and advertising tools.
How we use your information
- To send you confirmation of your registration and the link to join the event
- To send you email reminders before the event
- To send you SMS reminders on the day of the event
- To tell you about related events, offers, and content from us
- To measure how our advertising performs, so we know what is working
SMS messaging
If you provide your mobile number on our registration form, you consent to receive SMS messages from The Corporate Exodus related to the event you registered for. Message frequency is two to three messages per registered event. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or email [email protected].
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to operate the business, and they only receive what they need to do their job:
- Mailchimp, which sends our email
- Twilio, which delivers our SMS reminders
- Stripe, which processes payments
- Make, which moves data between those systems
- Meta and other advertising platforms, which receive measurement data in hashed form
We do not sell your information. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from email using the link at the bottom of any email we send
- Stop SMS by replying STOP to any message
- Request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your information by emailing us
Children
Our events and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
